Replacing Brake Pads On Specialized Crossroads
Yaounde is an amazing town ...
As I said earlier it is a city in turmoil. Everywhere there are things to do, everywhere there are things to see. The center is equipped with markets, shops, boulevards, buildings and other structures that make me think of France, small gambling dens called takeaways you buy or drink and is consumed on site or at home.
Cameroonians living outdoors! Everyone is out everywhere not a place without a soul, no children hounds, who plays without a street vendor there ... everywhere in the world.
Along the roads we find merchants who walk on the heads of which are skillfully packed fritters, fabrics, gadgets, clothes and ... makeshift stalls where you can savor the grilled fish, pineapples, avocados, donuts, beef skewers.
the evening at dusk in small markets are born here and there, lit a few lamps scattered on the walls or through kerosene lamps positioned on the stalls all under one air-shifted cut: that's the Africa that is what I like!
The colors, the smells, the atmosphere, that fever which hangs over us all and takes us ...
Yaounde teeming with taxis. They are very numerous, they circulate in every direction, zigzag, led by an interpretation of the rules of the road very personal, they are yellow and take several clients at the same time, for a reasonable way you can get away for 200 FCFA (2 French francs or 30 euro cents). Life is cheap here, the calls cost a 250 FCFA in France for 10 minutes or 2.5 French francs or just over 30 cents is ridiculous!
Businesses are hundreds of thousands, it's going to the fishmonger, the seller freezer, via the internet cafe, phone card vendor, the seamstress, the carpenter, the cook who sell their donuts and other typical foods, the vegetable seller, the seller of fruit ... in short everything you want to find ... we find in the street!
Slowly I take my bearings, acclimatization is not easy, it's true. I Loved the Blues Crossing empty but that's normal is the beginning. And my internship starts just hope to get involved fully in the projects of the association.
Yaounde is a maze, but lo and behold I start to have some benchmarks ... I know even go to my place of internship is ok to walk straight (!)
But it's not won, Yaounde is huge, it covers 15 sq km but maybe the next 4 months I'll get (good on that I always lose in Flines lez Raches yet since I know 5 years but there is hope ...)
In any case I think you very well ... if you want to write me I can give you my mailing address!
