Well now, the journey to the next world championships just around the corner. In just over two months, or May 12, 2009, the team will fly to Bosnia with the sole purpose of winning first place overall. It is important to remember that in 2007 the company had received a first place in the sprint and second place in the descent, allowing us to return to Quebec with pride - a 2nd place overall in!
Since 2007, two new girls joined the team is Natacha Lavoie (center right) and Anne-Marie Boulanger as a substitute. The team also won again last August's national championships with an important victory à toutes les épreuves!!!
Pendant l'hiver 2008-2009, les filles ont suivi un rigoureux programme d'entraînement concocté par leur coach, Jean-Philippe turcotte, et son nouvel assistant, Victor Tremblay de l'équipe de football du Rouge et Or. L'entraînement sur l'eau devrait recommencer à la mi-mars... on a tellement hâte!!!!
